DR CRAIG LAYT
Dr Craig Layt graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1988. He undertook his general surgery training at the Princess Alexandra, Mater, and Greenslopes Hospitals in Brisbane and the General Hospital in Townsville.
Dr Layt trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals. Now, he utilises his training as a private practice plastic surgeon, bringing his skill to the Gold Coast, Queensland. Dr Layt has been in private practice since 2001.
Dr Layt is highly credentialed in all areas of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. He is dedicated to a high standard of patient care and the achievement of excellent results. He insists that each patient fully understand the benefits, risks, and limitations of the procedure they have selected before undergoing surgery, in order to maximise patient satisfaction.
DR LUKE STRADWICK
Gold Coast Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Luke Stradwick, is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons only accepts those cosmetic and plastic surgeons who are fully trained in the field of Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery. Dr Stradwick is also a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is an International Active Member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr Stradwick undertook his undergraduate medical training in Adelaide and graduated with Honours. He was also awarded the University prize in surgery. He also completed his Bachelor of Medical Science degree, again graduating with Honours.
In addition to completing his training to become a medical practitioner, Dr Stradwick also completed an additional 8 years of extensive formal training and examinations. He is one of only seven other Gold Coast Plastic Surgeons who have achieved these standards. He has been involved in over 20,000 surgical procedures and has an impeccable record and is highly regarded by his colleagues for his technical skills and clinical ability.

Dr Lincoln SAITO MiLlan
Dr Lincoln Saito Millan graduated in Medicine at University of São Paulo Medical School (2005), General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residency at Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo Medical School (2011).
From March 2012 until February 2017 Lincoln was a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Burn Unit of Public Servant Hospital - São Paulo.
From July 2013 until February 2017 Lincoln was also a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at University of São Paulo. Cancer Institute – (Icesp).
DR ALINE WICKERT
Dr Aline Luise Wickert is a Brazilian Board certified Plastic Surgeon. She completed her studies in a competite Medical University in the South of Brazil (UFCSPA). She completed her residency in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery in Brazil. Along with her studies in Brazil she has participated in internships in USA at Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre Hospital in New York, at Columbia University Hospital in New York, at Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York with Dr Sherrel Aston Md, who is known as one of the best plastic surgeons of New York city. She has also participated in a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery in Vienna and visited a few of London's Hospitals as well.
DR Fanny Ballieux
Dr. Fanny Ballieux is a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon with the Royal Belgian College of Surgeons (RBSS) and the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery (RBSPS). In addition, she obtained the title of Fellows of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
She graduated magna cum laude with a degree of Physician from UCL Catholic University of Louvain, Faculty of Medicine, Brussels - Belgium.
Her internship and residency were accomplished in three different countries. Firstly in Belgium where she practiced 4 years under the guidance of Prof. Benoit Lengelé who performed, with Prof. Bernard Dechauvelle and Prof. Sylvie Testelin in Amiens - France, the first partial face allograft. Later she spent one year in Luxemburg (CHL) and one year in Westmead at The Children’s Hospital.
During her training, she has been highly involved in the Vascular Anomalies Center with Prof. L.M.Boon. Subsequently she published several publications and spoke at international conferences.
She had extensive experience in aesthetic facial surgery at the Clinique des Champs Elysées in Paris / France and trained in microsurgery in the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore.

Kate Sullivan
Clinical & fellow Coordinator
Kate manages the Fellowship program for our surgeons at Breast Academy and coordinates all of their medical accreditation and HR requirements. She is very friendly, organised and a great communicator, and covers senior administration aspects of the Breast Academy.
She is passionate about what we do, and has an in-depth understanding of clinic processes, enabling her to provide a high level of care and professionalism to our patients and clinic associates alike.
Tracy Armstrong
Office & Surgical Coordinator
Tracy keeps herself extremely busy coordinating our front office administration and surgical requirements. She provides the utmost compassion and consideration towards our patients and is passionate about ensuring they have the best possible experience from their first point of contact with the Breast Academy until well after their procedure. She understands that all women have different requirements and enjoys liaising closely with each and every patient to ensure they have a pleasant and satisfying experience with Breast Academy.
Nikki Cooper
Administration Assistant
Nikki works as our Administration Assistant and Receptionist at the Breast Academy. She is a bright and positive individual and brings with her extensive experience from her career in the medical administration sector. Nikki is well organised and caters to the needs of all our patients, assisting them every step in their journey with Breast Academy.
